Join Medacta, Northwestern University and VuMedi for a live surgical demonstration of the GMK® Sphere Knee System with MyKnee® Patient Specific Technology. This workshop will feature Dr. David Manning performing a live surgery of this advanced knee design.

The GMK® Sphere is Medacta’s implant designed to deliver maximum functional stability to a replaced knee, with the goal of increasing patient satisfaction and decreasing post-operative knee pain. The GMK® Sphere provides a fully conforming medial compartment encompassing a unique anatomic and patellar tracking design, aiming to provide higher stability and enhanced patient satisfaction when compared to conventional knee designs.

The GMK® Sphere was born out of a unique collaboration between Medacta and knee orthopedic technology pioneer Prof. Michael Freeman. The potential benefits of the GMK® Sphere -- including increased stability, optimized range of motion, and decreased levels of pain -- exemplify Medacta’s mission to provide safe and effective solutions that improve patient well being.
